For some reason smelling good is so important and I realized it just puts you in the "ready mode for the day". While your inner being & your mood is elevated, people around you, perceive really high about you when you smell good.
I understood this mystic world and its charisma only when in my current job, we started developing a range of perfumes under our brand name. The combinations, alcohol percentages, notes etc. I was made familiar with and I was then intrigued to know about every piece of my 25 perfumes collection. That's when I acknowledged my love for this enchanting fragrant world.

Understanding the fragrance notes and their chemical bonding with your body is one thing you should always keep in mind. The same perfume can smell amazingly good on one and average on your friend. However, there are few Classic Perfumes every woman should own.
These 6 Classic Perfumes that rage the senses and have the ecstatic effect on you and people around you are:
1. Chanel No. 5 (1921)
1. Chanel No. 5 (1921)
“It’s the ultimate iconic fragrance that translates the ultimate idea of femininity and has the spark of intimacy. You have the memory of Marilyn Monroe, who wore it, and you have the house of Chanel—together, it’s something incredible. You may like it or you may not, because it was made almost 100 years ago and it’s particular—but you try it because you have to.” Coco Chanel said later, "that is what I was waiting for. A perfume like nothing else. A woman’s perfume, with the scent of a woman."
May rose, jasmine and aldehydes(organic compounds of carbon, oxygen and hydrogen) are the basic combination and have wondrous notes!
2. Cacharel Anaïs Anaïs (1978)
“Nina Ricci’s L’Air du Temps used to be the first perfume that would be given to a young girl. But these days, I think it’s more accurate to say Cacharel’s Anaïs Anaïs. I can’t say it’s light—the aura is kind of big—but it’s a bright, sheer floral. And then you have the imagery of the campaign, which is these young women in groups, like a teenage band of girls. It’s something more innocent, the way things were 20 years ago. These days, you know, it’s more like Miley Cyrus.”
This legendary floral fragrance was launched back in 1978, and, to this day, it is one of the most popular and the most elegant florals.
Notes: The fragrance is centered around the notes of lily, mixed with other white and green flowers that express the freshness and purity.
Notes: Opens with accords of hyacinth , galbanum and orange blossom, with jasmine, rose and lily in the heart, settled at the base of sandalwood, cedar, incense and amber.
As Cacharel introduced a new edition Anais Anais Premier Delice in 2014, it also relaunched the original perfume (now with the suffix L' Original) in two concentrations - Anais Anais L'Original Eau de Parfum and Anais Anais L'Original Eau de Toilette.
3. Yves Saint Laurent Opium (1977)
“You have Yves Saint Laurent, you have fashion, and then you have Opium. The scent is a bit like a perfume done in another century, because the perfumes of that time did not yet have fruit notes, which we use a lot today. The idea of the fragrance itself isn’t as scandalous as it used to be, but it’s still something you identify in a certain way.
Notes: Bergamot, mandarin, jasmine and myrrh. The new bottle is accompanied with advertising campaign the face of which is Karen Elson.
4. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle (2001)
“It’s another Chanel, yes, but when I think about Coco Mademoiselle, almost every woman I know has owned it at some point. It’s the idea of a Fashionable girl. Very contemporary, chic, elegant. It is a fruity, floral chypre perfume. Chypres are very French. They’re an abstract form of fragrance. They’re not aggressive. They’re something mysterious, because the accord itself really doesn’t smell like anything else you know.”

This perfume is the winner of award FiFi Award Best National Advertising Campaign / TV 2008

Eternity Calvin Klein for women is the composition opens with fresh citrus and green notes, that is followed by the note of violet and lily-of-the-valley. The note of carnation with its spiciness gives the floral heart slightly peppery accord.
Final Notes: Beautifully gentle with powdery heliotrope, pink sandalwood and transparent musky notes
6. J'adore Dior (1999)
J’adore is a modern, glamorous fragrance, which has become incredibly popular, and for that reason developed in number of variants of different concentrations. J’adore is a luminous fragrance. Its opulent, golden scent shimmers on skin like sunbeams. The classic and ambitions of this fragrance reflects in the bottle shaped like Greek amphora. J’adore presents a new conception of Dior feminity, a scent so new and so in line with Dior style at the same time – sweet but balmy, slightly sharp floral.
